Joseph Hodges
Law Clerk
Biography
Joseph was born and raised in DeLand and graduated from DeLand High School in 2008. Immediately following graduation, he naturally moved closer to the beach because of his profound love for surfing, eventually working at a local surf shop.
Following a near-fatal accident in 2011, Joseph continued his pursuit of higher education at Daytona State College and graduated with honors in 2014 with an Associate of Arts in History. His dream of attending his favorite childhood university was realized when he transferred to the University of Florida – Go Gators! He graduated in 2016 with his Bachelor of Arts in History, specializing in 20th Century European History.
Knowing that he wanted to further his education and make a meaningful impact in his community, Joseph took a daring leap of faith by moving to the frozen mountains of New England to attend Vermont Law School. While attending Vermont Law, he garnered a variety of legal experience by assisting injured clients with their personal injury matters, as well as helping asylum seekers on their pathway to lawful permanent residency.
After enduring many days in single digits and overcoming the various hardships of law school, Joseph graduated in May 2022 with his Juris Doctorate. He is currently studying for The Florida Bar Exam to become a licensed attorney and will join our ranks to provide legal guidance for our clients who are seeking assistance in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Guardianships and/or Family Law.
